Welcome to Revive Floors ("we," "our," or "Company"). By accessing or using our website, booking our services, or engaging with our floor repair and consulting services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read these Terms carefully before using our services.

2. Definitions

  • "Services" refers to floor repair, restoration, and consulting services provided by Revive Floors
  • "Website" refers to the Revive Floors website and online booking platform
  • "Customer," "you," or "your" refers to any individual or entity booking or receiving our services
  • "Contractor" refers to any Revive Floors representative providing services at your location

3. Service Booking and Payment

3.1 Booking Process

  • • Services must be booked through our website or via phone
  • • A minimum deposit is required at the time of booking for online reservations
  • • Full payment is required prior to service commencement for phone bookings

3.2 Payment Terms

Final payment, including any additional services or materials, must be completed before the contractor leaves the premises

Acceptable payment methods include:

  • • Online payments through our website (processed by PayPal)
  • • Cash (for phone bookings only)
  • • E-transfer (for phone bookings only)

3.3 Pricing

  • • Service pricing is detailed on our website
  • • Final costs may vary based on:
    • - Actual conditions found on-site
    • - Additional services requested
    • - Materials required
  • • We reserve the right to adjust services to accommodate budget constraints at our discretion

4. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy

4.1 Cancellations

  • • Cancellations made 12+ hours before appointment: Full refund minus $12 processing fee
  • • Cancellations made less than 12 hours before appointment: No refund of deposit
  • • Extenuating circumstances may be considered for refunds at our discretion by contacting [email protected]

4.2 Rescheduling

  • • Appointments may be rescheduled at no additional cost if done 12+ hours before the scheduled time
  • • Rescheduling with less than 12 hours' notice may result in additional fees

5. Service Requirements and Access

5.1 Customer Responsibilities

  • • Provide access to the service area
  • • Ensure functioning electricity and water supplies
  • • Remove valuable or fragile items from the service area
  • • Secure pets and ensure contractor safety
  • • Maintain clear pathways to work areas

5.2 Service Area Preparation

  • • Customer must inform of any pre-existing damage or conditions
  • • Adequate ventilation must be available
  • • Working temperature must be maintained within recommended ranges

6. Liability and Limitations

6.1 Service Results

  • • While we strive for excellent results, exact matching of materials or perfect restoration cannot be guaranteed
  • • Natural variations in materials may affect final appearance
  • • Pre-existing conditions may affect service outcomes

6.2 Property Protection

  • • Regular dust collection methods are employed
  • • Residual dust is a natural byproduct of floor services
  • • Company is not liable for:
    • - Secondary cleaning services
    • - Damage to items left in work areas
    • - Pre-existing property conditions
    • - Allergic reactions to materials or dust

7. Privacy and Data Collection

7.1 Website Data

  • • No tracking technologies or cookies are collected directly by Revive Floors
  • • Third-party service providers may collect data:
    • - Setmore (booking service)
    • - PayPal (payment processing)
  • • These services are governed by their respective privacy policies

7.2 Communications

  • • Email communications are encrypted
  • • Customer information is never shared with unauthorized parties
  • • Contact information is used solely for service-related communications

8. Warranties and Guarantees

8.1 Service Warranty

  • • Workmanship warranty period: 30 days from service completion
  • • Warranty covers defects in workmanship only
  • • Warranty excludes:
    • - Normal wear and tear
    • - Customer-caused damage
    • - Environmental damage
    • - Failure to maintain properly

9. Dispute Resolution

9.1 Governing Law

  • • These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada
  • • Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada
  • • These Terms shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein

9.2 Informal Resolution

  • • Parties agree to attempt informal resolution before legal action
  • • Complaints must be submitted in writing to [email protected]
  • • Response will be provided within 5 business days

10. Gift Cards and Promotional Offers

10.1 Gift Cards

  • • Gift cards are valid for one year from the date of purchase
  • • Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash
  • • Lost or stolen gift cards will not be replaced
  • • Gift card balance may be applied to any service offered by Revive Floors
  • • Partial use of gift card value is permitted, and remaining balance will be maintained
  • • Gift cards are non-transferable and non-refundable

10.2 Promotional Offers

  • • Promotional offers cannot be combined with other discounts or special offers
  • • Promotional pricing is valid only for the specified time period
  • • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any promotion at any time
  • • Promotional offers are subject to availability
  • • Promotional offers may have specific eligibility requirements or restrictions
  • • Promotional codes must be mentioned at the time of booking
  • • Retroactive application of promotional offers is not permitted
